  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. OR mus) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. Balb* for partial matches or mus AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

Protein Domain
Type: Domain
Description: The C-terminal of Roc domain, or COR domain, functions along with Roc as a putative regulator of kinase activity. It functions as a proper GTP-binding protein with a low GTPase activity somehow stimulating the kinase activity []. The Roc-COR tandem is found in bacterial and eukaryotic proteins. Its most prominent member is the leucine-rich repeat kinase LRRK2 [].
Protein Domain
Type: Domain
Description: In general, F-box proteins share a F-box motif and also have either WD40 repeat domains, LRR domains or various other domains. F-box proteins recruit specific substrates for ubiquitination via different protein-protein interaction domains, such as WD40 repeats and leucine rich repeats (LRRs) [, ]. This entry represents the leucine-rich repeats (LRR) domain of F-box/LRR repeat protein 18 (FBXL18). This protein is a component of an SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein)-type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The SCF-Fbxl18 complex has been shown to ubiquitinate Fbxl7 and LRRK2 and promote their degradation through the proteasome pathway [, ].
