Dynamin-binding protein (DNMBP, also known as Tuba) is a scaffold protein that links dynamin with actin-regulating proteins. It binds a variety of actin regulatory proteins, including N-WASP, CR16, WAVE1, WIRE, PIR121, NAP1, and Ena/VASP proteins, via a C-terminal SH3 domain []. It plays a critical role in ciliogenesis and nephrogenesis, most likely via Cdc42 activation []. |
