abstractText | The mechanisms regulating tumor-associated inflammation are incompletely understood. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Rutkowski and colleagues indicate that TLR5 signaling deficiency, which occurs in approximately 10% of the population, changes interactions with commensal microbiota and deregulates a cascade of inflammatory events that can suppress or accelerate extraintestinal cancers. |
