| abstractText | The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) procedure has been utilised to clone, from mouse genomic DNA, a region of the fibronectin (FN)-encoding gene (FN) which includes the 5' flanking nucleotide (nt) sequences. The mouse promoter nt sequence shows high homology to the rat and human FN promoters, including consensus nt sequences for several DNA-binding transcription factors. |
