PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele are viable and fertile but exhibit a rostral shift of the shoulder girdle resulting in altered position of the forelimbs, and show variable anteriorizing homeotic transformations of cervicothoracic vertrebrae C6 through T1.
