The mutation results in an alteration of the corresponding amino acid from cysteine to serine (C47S) at codon 47. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. The mutation does not affect phospholipase A2 activity, but does eliminate peroxidase activity. |
