Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in bladder disease; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; prune belly syndrome; and pulmonary fibrosis. PHENOTYPE: Homozygous null mice show reduced body weight and gonadal fat pad weight, decreased food intake, and low serum levels of leptin, triglycerides and insulin.
