abstractText  We report the cDNA sequence of a mouse gene homologous to the HTLV-I tax responsive element binding protein TAXREB107 (M-TAXREB107). This gene is constitutively and ubiquitously expressed indicating a conserved biological function. We present evidence that its transcription is under strict control of a regulatory factor, which is rapidly metabolized.
