abstractText  Recently, sortilin a non G-protein-coupled receptor has been identified as the 100-kDa neurotensin receptor. In this paper we describe the expression of its gene during mouse embryonal development. We show that the nervous system is the main location of sortilin gene expression and that with ongoing development the forebrain exhibits the highest accumulation of transcripts.
