| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Remutations: 3. A spontaneous neuromuscular mutation which occurred in our Ca stock in the 1950's has been shown to be allelic to med, symbol medJ. This allele test was kindly made by Dr. Michael Shreff of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. Our stock is maintained by alternate crosses of Ca medJ/+ + to B6C3Fl and to Ca medJ/+ +. Intercross mating data show 300 Ca medJ, 279 + +, 518 Ca +, 0 + medJ among 1097 progeny. On this background medJ homozygotes are recognizable by 14 days and often live beyond 28 days. |
