PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a gene trapped allele display mitotic spindle misorientation, microcephaly, craniofacial developmental anomalies, such as cleft palate and eye defects, variable structural kidney and cardiovascular defects, and altered hemodynamics leading to heart failure and prenatal lethality.
