| molecularNote | The Lck promoter was observed to drive expression in the T-cell containing tissues including the thymus, spleen and lymph nodes. The highest levels of expression were observed in thymic tissue. Immunohistochemical analysis of T-cell containing tissues confirmed overexpression of a dominant negative peptide consisting of the DNA binding domain (residues 1 through 376) of the human ADP-ribosyltransferase protein. Analysis of thymocytes obtained from mice originating from founder line 2, showed ADP-ribose polymer formation to be inhibitied. |
