abstractText  A new X-linked dominant mutation in the mouse exhibiting preaxial polydactyly and tibial hemimelia is described and named X-linked polydactyly (Xpl). Linkage tests show that Xpl is located on the distal end of the X chromosome with the order Ta--13--jp--15--Xpl.
