| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 4. A semi-dominant lethal belly spot, Bs, reported in J. Hered. 55, has been tested for allelism with Wv. These tests indicate that it is a W allele, since black eyed white anemic offspring were produced from the cross of Wv + x Ba+. Therefore the symbol Bs is withdrawn. The new allele is probably lethal before 12 days of gestation in homozygotes and the spotting in heterozygotes is unlike that reported for other alleles. |
