abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Recent Mutants: Rosette (rst), (MNL 39, 18), is a recessive with variable expression; penetrance has been complete on backgrounds tested. The phenotype is similar to the rosette, Rt, of guinea pigs; Prof. Gruneberg suggests analogy of phenotype with the German ridge-back dog. The commonest expression is two whorls, each centred on a hind leg, extending mid-dorsally and almost mid-ventrally. Not so far described in mice; no tests of allelism with hair-curling or hair-texture mutants are envisaged. rstrst breed well. (Wallace) |
