Is expressed in several structures, including blastocyst; brain; dorsal root ganglion; early embryo; and limb. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in congenital heart disease. Orthologous to human RBFOX2 (RNA binding fox-1 homolog 2).
PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a conditional allele activated in the brain exhibit normal spontaneous and kainic acid-induced seizures. [provided by MGI curators]
