| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 3. Dip-1c. In MNL 60 I reported that the NZB/BlNJ strain possesses an allele of dipeptidase-1 (Dip-1) which determines an isozyme more anodal than the isozyme in either DBA/2J (Dip-1b) or C57BL/6J (Dip-la). This I proposed to call Dip-lc. In testing other inbred strains I find that RIIIS/J and ST/bJ, which had previously been reported as Dip-1b, are also Dip-lc. This rare variant may be identical to an allele found in two European strains, DD/HeA and WLL/BrA (Staats, Cancer Res. 36:4333). (Taylor) |
