EHD (EH domain-containing protein) family is a group of endocytic recycling proteins that interact with ferlin proteins and mediate the cytoskeletal rearrangements necessary for proper membrane recycling and myoblast fusion []. Members in EHD family includes EHD1/2/3/4 []. EHD1 localises to recycling endosomes and promotes membrane trafficking of various receptors []. EHD3 resides in tubular and vesicular membrane structures and participates in endocytic recycling and early endosome transport [, ]. It may function as a tumour suppressor [].
