GAS2-like protein 3 (GAS2L3) belongs to the growth-arrest-specific 2 (GAS2) family, whose members mediate the crosstalk between filamentous actin (F-actin) and microtubules (MTs). The MT-binding GAS2-related domain of GAS2L3 modulates the binding of GAS2-like 3 to both filamentous actin and MTs []. The microtubule localisation of GAS2L3 can be regulated by tubulin acetylation [].
