POU6F2, also known as retina-derived POU domain factor 1 (RPF1), is a transcription factor and a tumour suppressor associated with Wilms tumor (WT), a kidney malignancy of childhood characterised by highly heterogeneous genetic alterations [, ]. In zebrafish it is involved retina regeneration []. It has been shown to be involved in pituitary development [].
