Myotubularin-related protein 6 (MTMR6) is a catalytically active member of the myotubularin (MTM) family, which possess 3-phosphatase activity dephosphorylating phosphatidylinositol-3-phoshate and phosphatidylinositol-3,5-bisphosphate.
