Search our database by keyword

Examples

  • Search this entire website. Enter identifiers, names or keywords for genes, diseases, strains, ontology terms, etc. (e.g. Pax6, Parkinson, ataxia)
  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. OR mus) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. Balb* for partial matches or mus AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

Search results 201 to 218 out of 218 for Lasp1

Protein Domain
Type: Domain
Description: Lasp1 (LIM and SH3 domain protein 1) is a cytoplasmic protein that binds focal adhesion proteins and is involved in cell signaling, migration, and proliferation []. It is overexpressed in several cancer cells, including breast, ovarian, bladder, and liver [, , ]. In some cancer cells, it can be found in the nucleus; its degree of nuclear localization correlates with tumour size and poor prognosis []. Lasp1 is a 36kDa protein containing an N-terminal LIM domain, two nebulin repeats, and a C-terminal SH3 domain []. This entry represent the SH3 domain.
