| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: New mutants: Two new sex-linked mutants have been found amongst the offspring of irradiated parents. (2) Sex-linked fidget (Slf) was recovered from an experiment searching for sex-linked recessive lethals (MBL 56:39). Slf males show a slight up and down head shaking, most easily identifiable around weaning age. The expression in Slf+ females is variable, in most it overlaps normal, but in a few is similar to hemizygous males. Slf also appears to be near Ta, only 1 definite crossover has so far been identified amongst 46 male raised. (Phillips and Fisher). |
