abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Research news: Short jaw (symbol sj) arose as a spontaneous mutation in the tailless line 9. It behaves as an autosomal recessive. Short jaw homozygotes have a short lower jaw, usually a cleft palate, fused ribs, curved spine, displaced kidneys, and sometimes open lids. They die immediately after birth. |
