| molecularNote | A neomycin selection gene was inserted to delete all of exons 2, 3, and 4, and the translated region of exon 5. Flow cytometric analysis of thymocytes stained with a monoclonal antibody revealed a lack of surface expression of the encoded protein in homozygous mutant mice. Additional analysis via flow cytometry showed an absence of protein expression in T cells derived from the kidney, spleen, and peripheral blood when activated with PMA. |
