abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 4. New mutants. A lethal has turned up in C57B. It is recessive, with full penetrance. Fur colour is diluted (both black and yellow) with clumping of pigment granules. From the age of about twelve days the mutants suffer from severe clonic convulsions of the limbs combined with opisthotonus of the body. They cannot walk and usually die just before weaning time in an emaciated state. First results of mating tests show that the mutant gene is almost certainly an allele of Maltese dilution, d. (A.G.
