Orthologous to human DPT (dermatopontin).
PHENOTYPE: Homozygotes for a targeted null mutation exhibit skin with increased elasticity, decreased thickness, and reduced collagen content, and possess more subcutaneous adipose tissue. Corneal thickness is reduced as well. [provided by MGI curators]
