PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a knockout allele exhibit male sterility associated with oligospermia and asthenospermia, impaired spermiogenesis, elongated and ectopic manchettes, and teratospermia with multiple morphological abnormalities of the sperm flagella. [provided by MGI curators]
