Located in several cellular components, including cytoskeleton; mitochondrion; and sarcomere. Is expressed in heart and male reproductive gland or organ. Used to study dilated cardiomyopathy. Orthologous to human LRRC10 (leucine rich repeat containing 10).
PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a null mutation are viable and fertile. They show prenatal systolic dysfunction and development of dilated cardiomyopathy in postnatal life. [provided by MGI curators]
