Orthologous to human PLET1 (placenta expressed transcript 1).
PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele exhibit increased gut permeability, impaired tissue repair of DSS-induced damage in colon epithelium, and reduced tumor formation in an azoxymethane/DSS model of colitis-associated cancer. [provided by MGI curators]
