| abstractText | More than 16kb of genomic sequence encompassing the mouse follicle-stimulating hormone beta subunit (FSH beta)-encoding gene was isolated from a 129SvEv mouse genomic library. Comparisons of the nucleotide and deduced amino-acid sequences to the FSH beta sequences of other mammalian species confirm an evolutionarily conserved role of this important protein in reproduction. |
