RELT (receptor expressed in lymphoid tissues) is a member of the TNFR superfamily. RELT is able to activate the NF-kappaB pathway and selectively binds tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 1 []. RELT like proteins 1 and 2 (RELL1 and RELL2) are two RELT homologues that bind to RELT. The expression of RELL1 at the mRNA level is ubiquitous, whereas expression of RELL2 mRNA is more restricted to particular tissues []. |
