| abstractText | Full test of MNL contribution: Research News: Recent spontaneous mutants. A sex-linked mutation has occurred in our outbred albino TO colony. Males and homozygous females show a pale yellow tinge, while heterozygous females show yellow patches. A recessive mutation allelic with belted (bt) has occured in our CBA/H-T6 colony. This has proved useful for differentiating between the normal CBA mice and those carrying the T6 translocation. More extensive data on the microphthalmic mutant miCrc indicates that the sex ratio of this mutant in heterozygous matings is normal. |
