| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 4. A new allele of adr. An autosomal recessive mutation causing a neuromuscular disorder appeared in the offspring of ethylnitrosourea mutagenesis experiments at Kansas State University (MNL 77:131-132). Breeding stock for nm-2 was obtained from James D. McDonald and Vernon C. Bode. The mutant phenotype is indistinguishable from myotonia (adrmto), an allele of arrested development of righting response. This mutation has been called adrK because the allelism test with myotonia showed non-complementation. We intend to discard this mutation.
