| abstractText | Full text of Mouse Genome contribution: 2. Revised location of the splotch mutation. Splotch retarded (Spr) was previously described as involvin a visible deletion in G-band C4 of chromosome 1 (Evans et al MNL 81:66, 1988). Further inspection now suggests that the deletion is more distal and involves the removal of band 1C5. The revised location has been entered on the updated map of chromosome anomalies (Beechey, Mouse Genome, 91:81-101, 1993). (Evans). |
