| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Change of symbol: Low is a t-haplotype. The mutant Low discovered by Dunn and Bennett arose in such circumstances that it could have been a mutant t-haplotype, derived from th17, which in turn arose from t6. Dunn and Bennett rejected this explanation because Low's interactions with other t-haplotypes differed from those found until then. More recent studies have shown that mutants derived from t6 do behave in a manner similar to Low. Low has therefore been reinterpreted as a mutant t-haplotype and its symbol should be changed to tlow. (Lyon and I. Mason). |
