abstractText  Full text of MNL contribution: Research Notes: (W.F. Hollander). (1) The new mutant, "hydrocephalic polydactyl" (see preliminary notes in MNL 34:28, 35:30), has been studied further and seems to be a case of pleiotropism with incomplete penetrance. Segregation from normal parents has given 594 normal : 134 abnormal. The obviously hydrocephalic individuals generally die before maturity, but those not showing obvious hydrocephaly generally mature well. The males have all been sterile, but they occasionally have copulated successfully. The females breed well. Preliminary backcross segregations are close to 1:1. The symbol hpy is proposed. Stock is available.
