| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: A spontaneous mutation to hr<rh2J> occurred in the congenic line B6.C-H-23<c>, synonym HW53, in March, 1971, at NE15F9. The mutation was tested by a mating of two heterozygous females to HRS/J-hr males, which produced six hairless offspring. Since the skink of the new mutant animals resembles rhino, it is assumed to be hr<rh>. The mutant line is now established and is being maintained +/hr<rh2J> female x hr<rh2J>/hr<rh2J> male. |
