A new autosomal recessive mutation that arose in our Animal Resources colony of C3H/HeJ in 1987 has proved to be allelic with toxic milk (tx). Allelism tests were done by Dr. Harold Rauch at The University of Massachusetts. We are maintaining txJ as homozygotes on the C3HeB/FeJ background. (Sweet, Davisson) |
