| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Research notes: Chylous Ascites in Ragged. As described in J. Med Genetics 1, 10-23, 1964 (B.M. Herbertson and M.E. Wallace), the gene Ra, which in Dr. Slee's stocks produced no chylous ascites in some 5,000 heterozygotes examined, produced in our Linkage Group V stock an incidence of approx. 15%. Ragged from the former stock has now been made isogenic with the latter, and shows the same incidence of chylous ascites. The symbol Chy is therefore withdrawn. |
