| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Notes on mutants: 3) Ames waltzer, av (MNL 22:32): Test-crosses in which all progeny were b/+ gave the following ratios of recombinants to total for av and si ("silver" from L/Gw inbred strain): males segregating 71/203 = 35%, females segregating 72/224 = 32%, total 143/427 = 33%. Negative testcross data include the following ratios: Group I o 61/112, p 52/115; II dse 65/135; III W 66/138, s 86/149; V a 94/167, Sd 12/30; VI Ca 78/163, bt 58/132; VII Re 30/57; VIII b 124/247; IX Fu 30/61, T 65/125; XII ru 28/64; XIII ln 49/116, fz 48/103. Crosses vv males x av av or av/+ females produced all normal offspring. |
