abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: New Mutants: 1. Blebbed bl is a semi-lethal recessive, similar to my, which was found in the F3 offspring of a male who had received 65 rads neutrons over 12 weeks. Homozygotes normally have reduced eyes, often with an odd hair development between the eyes, many also have clubbed feet and sometimes hands and there may be absence of one or both kidneys. Blebs are often still visible at birth. The gene is not allelic with my and probably not with cl. It is in linkage group XVII fairly close to Wv. Only coupling data are available so far. Wv+/+bl x +bl/+bl Wv+/102 Wvbl/4 ++/15 +bl/44. (Phillips). |
