| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Genes controlling glycosidase activities. 3. Together with Dr. John Shire, Institute of Genetics, Glasgow, we have analysed the effects of a new coat colour mutant on kidney glycosidase activities. The mutant has provisionally been called reduced pigment (rp). It was found that homozygous rp/rp mice have their glycosidase activities raised about 60% compared to their littermates. Thus, there may be seven coat colour loci with this type of effect. |
