| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: The anophthalmic mutant initially investigated by H.B. Chase and E.B. Chase in the 1940's now finds itself on a different genetic background as a result of several outcrosses. It is currently being investigated in a stock called "ZRDCT" which is in the eleventh generation of brothen-sister matings. Also in progress are attempts to transfer the mutant to the C57BL strain, and the production of ZRDCT's with enforced heterozygosity at the eyeless locus. (Sidney L. Beck) |
