molecularNote  A targeting vector containing a floxed PGKneo, a bovine growth hormone polyadenylation sequence, and PGKDTA is used to insert 1.8 kb mouse Myod1 cDNA into the first exon of the gene. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neo cassette.
