abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Research News: 1. Banding studies have revealed that the translocation (T9;?)27H involves chromosome 1. The breakpoints appear to be in the regions 1C1 and 9E3 or 9E4 (according to the nomenclature of Nesbitt and Francke, Chromosome 41: 145). The resulting chromosome 9-1 (centromere of 9) is the longest chromosome in the complement, while 1-9 is between 18 and 19 in size. |
