The BAC also includes the sterol regulator element binding transcription factor 1 gene (Srebf1; formerly Srebp1) and the 3' end of Tom1l2. Founder line 760 has integrated ~4 copies of the transgene at a single site. Overexpression of Rai1 in the brain and liver was verified by quantitative RT-PCR and western blot analysis. |
