| molecularNote | A C terminally HA tagged mouse Cdh1 cDNA and an inverted floxed TK-neo cassette were inserted in the start codon via homologous recombination. The neo cassette was then removed by cre mediated recombination. RNA and protein levels are reduced in homozygous ES cells relative to wild-type cells. Immunoprecipitation assays confirmed the ability of the HA tagged protein to interact with normal binding partners. Expression analysis found loss of protein expression restricted to the labyrinth layer of the placenta. |
