molecularNote  A 1542 bp fragment of the Kap promoter drives expression of a FLAG-tagged Ppara gene and exons 3-5 and 3' untranslated region of the human angiotensin gene. Three lines were generated (560, 561, 562). This line had the highest level of transgene expression in the kidney. Testosterone treatment induces higher levels of transgene expression in the kidneys of female mice.
