molecularNote  Bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) library (CHORI) was used to obtain a BAC (#RP23-192A7) containing the entire mouse collagen, type X, alpha 1 (Col10a1) gene. This BAC was altered to insert a monomeric red fluorescent protein, mCherry, upstream of the initiation codon of Col10a1. Line 3 was generated.
